1Am I eligible to apply for AWAKAS government employee personal financing?
You are eligible if you meet the following requirements:

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Civil servant, statutory body employee, or selected GLC employee
  • Aged 20–58 years (maximum age for police officers is 55 years)
  • Permanent employee with at least 6 months of service
  • Minimum gross monthly income of RM1,500
  • Not declared bankrupt
  • Pass AWAKAS credit scoring

3What documents are required for my application?
You will need to provide:

  • Copy of Identification Card (IC)
  • Certified copy of Police IC (if applicable)
  • Latest 3 months’ salary slips (certified by employer)
  • Latest bank statement (salary account / receiving account)
  • Employment confirmation letter
  • Option letter (if applicable)
  • Transfer or posting letter (if applicable)
  • Early settlement statement (if applicable)
4Do I need to provide other personal information, e.g. credit report?
No, it is not required. However, your consent to access your credit report is needed to facilitate the application process. Your credit information will be used as part of the financing assessment.
5Is a guarantor or collateral required?
No guarantor or collateral is required for AWAKAS personal financing.
